Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, including those with dementia and other cognitive impairments. You will assist with daily living activities, promote a positive and nurturing atmosphere, and help maintain the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents' safety and comfort.

  • Administer medications according to the care plan and under the supervision of licensed staff.

  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive conditions to the appropriate team members.

  • Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical well-being.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment for residents.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other team members.

  • Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and rights at all times.

  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in caregiving, especially in assisted living or dementia care, is preferred.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus but not required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

  • Ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
